Privacy policy

This policy explains what we do with the information you send us through this website.

Before publication: set NEXT_PUBLIC_COMPANY_NAME, NEXT_PUBLIC_COMPANY_NUMBER, NEXT_PUBLIC_COMPANY_ADDRESS and NEXT_PUBLIC_DPO_EMAIL in the environment. This notice disappears automatically once they are present. Nothing on this page has been invented.

Who we are

VerbaX provides ground handling, transport and travel programmes in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK GDPR we are the data controller for information submitted through this site. Registered company details to be completed. Contact for data protection matters: info@verbax.co.uk.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect only what the form asks for:

We also record the time of submission, your browser's user agent, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address. The hash lets us detect abuse of the form. We do not store your IP address itself.

Why we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and, if you proceed, deliver the programme. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and performance of a contract once one exists.

Who we share it with

Delivering a programme means engaging suppliers — coach operators, accommodation providers and attractions. We share only what those suppliers need to fulfil their part of your booking. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are retained for up to 24 months so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Booking records are retained for the period required by UK accounting and tax law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@verbax.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is validated on the server, stored in an access-controlled database and transmitted to our team over authenticated email. Access to the enquiry system is limited to VerbaX staff.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and revise the date below.
